The growth in the penetration of a/c on new UK vehicles has been dramatic and recent. While the sharpest rate of increase may be over the trend is forecast to continue.

So, the two key factors are; high (and increasing) penetration of a/c on new vehicles
and rapidly increasing number of vehicles on the roads with a/c.

Servicing

Servicing means systems can be maintained and checked.Problems and faults can be diagnosed and treated before they become too serious.

When completing a service to your vehicle we will complete a 7 point service of your vehicles air conditioning system.

  1. Initial System Testing.
    Vent Tempreatures and gauge pressures are checked against recommended levels.
  2. Recovery of System Refrigerant
    This is recovered and weighed.
  3. Checking of System and Related Components
    This includes drive belts, pipes and hoses, evaporator drain tube, pollen filter condenser and electrics.
  4. Check Heater and Control Flap Operations
  5. Check Compressor Oil Level and replace Drier
  6. System Evaluation
    A Vacuum is applied to remove moisture and air which can damage the system
  7. Charging
    Recommended gas and oil charges are added following thorough leak checking.

Sick Car Syndrome

If you vehicles Air Conditioning Unit is not providing you with the original freshness that is once was, and should be, then its about time to call us and book in for a service as your vehicles Air Conditioning may be suffering from what is known as Sick Car Syndrome.

Sick Car Syndrome is believed to be caused by a build up of bacteria trapped within the ventilation system. These bacteria can combine and produce unpleasant odours and potentially flu like systems.
